Everyday social media is growing more and more. Everyone I meet is asking me to follow them on Twitter, Facebook, etc. As a result, I have been noticing an uprising of a new form of social community building known as Tweetups. Basically, a Tweetup is a when a group of people who follow each other or share similar interests on Twitter decide to get together in person.
Tweetups are a perfect place to meet women for a few reasons:
1. The women there already feel like they know you. This gets you past the awkward first few minutes where you are trying to build rapport, and immediately in to the comfort zone.
2. The women are there to meet YOU. Obviously there is something about you that they like; that’s the whole reason they showed up in the first place. Use this to your advantage.
3. It’s a very light/friendly atmosphere. You can feel free to start a conversation with any and everyone and no one will question you.
4. You already have all the women’s contact information. This means you don’t have to sweat if she left while you were in the restroom and forgot to get her number.
Okay guys, Hopefully this will motivate you to try and find a Tweetup near where you live.
